Vistara stops Chennai-Kochi flights

I flew Chennai-Auckland on AirAsia earlier this year and then Air Asia announced they are suspending flights to Auckland from 2019

I booked AirAsia Chennai-Bhuvaneshwar flights, AirAsia Suspends MAA-BBI flights permanently.

I had booked a flight to Yangon and Air Asia cancelled it (I had to fly on another flight with more connection time at airport and left me with less time at the destination)

Now one more to the list- I flew Air Vistara Chennai-Kochi this September, now it looks like Vistara is discontinuing this route.
While the "where we fly" map on AirVistara still shows Chennai-Kochi, the schedule section now shows that Chennai has flights only to Delhi, Kolkata and Port Blair, not Kochi
Attempt to make a booking between Chennai and Kochi is also resulting in an error. Delhi-Kochi twice a day flights are operational. Network re-adjustments are a constant process, as airlines try to cut loss making routes and fly to some other city expected to be more profitable. Probably the middle of the day timing of Chennai-Kochi wasn't very convenient for travelers and load wasn't good enough for Vistara. We don't really have much of a say in this matter. My best wishes to Vistara.

Update: Looks like WOW Air is also discontinuing New Delhi-Iceland flights.

Looks like airlines also started following you, and they don't want people to get inspired from you ... :)
